Colorado fires aftermath

The Marshall Fire tore through Boulder County on Thursday, December 30, leveling subdivisions and charring more than 6,000 acres.
The origin of the blaze is still under investigation, but a search warrant was executed at a private property, Boulder County Sheriff Joe Pelle said.
At least 991 homes in Louisville, Superior and unincorporated portions of Boulder County have been lost in the blaze, Pelle added. After an extreme swing in weather, the areas affected by the fire were covered with several inches of snow by Friday evening.
