Mulberry Street menswear entrepreneur Teddy Santis has cultivated a committed following for his elevated take on ‘90s New York style since founding Aimé Leon Dore in 2014, with his brand helping to usher in a softer, Americana-inflected sportswear moment.

Industry heavyweights are taking notice: LVMH recently invested in ALD, while New Balance named Santis creative director of its ‘Made in USA’ line.

In a rare interview ahead of the rollout of his first New Balance collection later this spring, Santis said believes we’re living in a menswear renaissance. “I think this era of menswear will be spoken about for a very long time,” Santis said. “It’s a beautiful thing.”
