“On the one hand, it seems like it’s his responsibility to make sure I have work to do, and if he doesn’t want to make use of my time, then okay. On the other hand, I get kind of annoyed! I get antsy twiddling my thumbs and not having any work to log for that time. I’m not sure if this is a problem with me or him or both of us. Does he need to communicate better and manage more actively, or do I need to be managed less?”
