But very few know that besides her haute couture collections shown in Paris since 2016, she has built a sizable bridal empire in China, dressing some of the biggest celebrity couples, the wealthiest families and, more importantly, everyday people who simply want to look their best during the most important occasion in their life. @guopei is reimagining Chinese traditional ensembles for the main ceremony.
In an interview with WWD, @guopei revealed that the change was decades in the making.
