Opinion: History often has ignored the Nazis' persecution of these women

It’s Pride Month, when we celebrate the LGBTQ community’s achievements and mourn its long history of oppression. But all too often this commemoration has meant remembering only gay men, who have most easily assimilated into the mainstream in recent years. The experiences of other groups, including trans people, bisexuals and lesbians, are frequently relegated to a secondary status.
