Climate activists target Andy Warhol’s Campbell’s soup cans at National Gallery of Australia

The artworks, which sit under glass, were not damaged by the Stop Fossil Fuel Subsidies protesters

Climate protesters have scrawled over one of the National Gallery of Australia’s prized modern art pieces, Andy Warhol’s Campbell’s soup cans.

Images released by the activists showed several blue scrawls across the work, called Campbell’s Soup I, but it is understood the prints themselves were under glass frames and not damaged.
