Tonight is the season finale of the drama series Yellowjackets on Showtime. Yellowjackets tells the saga of a team of wildly talented high school girls soccer players who become the (un)lucky survivors of a plane crash. On the night of their 25th reunion, the girls navigate damning evidence, false alibis and a dubious attempt to “heal.” In the wilderness, the Doomcoming leaves everything off the rails as simmering resentments come to head. Throughout the series, lesbian actress, singer-songwriter, and podcaster Jasmin Savoy Brown portrays the teenage queer character Taissa and non-binary actor, comic, and playwright Liv Hewson portrays the teenage queer character Van. Yellowjackets: Sunday, 10pm on Showtime.

On Tuesday, the new sitcom How I Met Your Father will premiere on Hulu. In the series, Sophie (Hilary Duff) tells her son the story of how she met his father: a story that catapults us back to the year 2021 where Sophie and her close-knit group of friends— including queer character Ellen (out actress, comedian and scriptwriter Tien Tran)— are in the midst of figuring out who they are, what they want out of life, and how to fall in love in the age of dating apps and limitless options.
