The Emmy and GLAAD Media Award nominated animated series Craig of the Creek is back with an all-new episode guest starring We’re Here and Ru Paul’s Drag Race royalty Bob the Drag Queen. Cartoon Network’s Craig of the Creek follows three kids and their wild adventures in the untamed, utopian wilderness. Now in its 4th season, the series has been consistently praised for its authentic, relatable characters and diverse cultural representation.

In this exclusive clip from the all-new episode titled “Back to Cool,” Bob the Drag Queen plays the role of a talking purse. Famously coining the catchphrase “purse first” on her season of Ru Paul’s Drag Race, and even turning it into a song with the same name, the Craig of the Creek team thought this would be the perfect role for Bob.

“I had a blast getting to work on this episode and having the opportunity to embody a talking purse. It’s a very campy and fun moment in history that I hope will live on for ages!” said the multihyphenate performer.

Nicole, Craig’s mom, quotes this catchphrase as she enters the room with her gorgeous new “Ducci Bag.” This luxury purse has an enchanting voice, that winds up coercing Craig into taking the biggest fashion risk of his life.

Earlier in the episode, Craig is informed that his everyday purse is out of style. Despite his mother telling Craig to “keep your little stinky fingers off my Ducci Bag,” the bag comes to life and tells Craig that wearing the bag would make him “look sickening henny.” 

With the hopes of becoming the “King of Looks,” Craig takes the bag with him to the creek. Even if this forbidden fantasy of a fashion accessory lands Craig in the doghouse, one thing’s for sure: this bag has Craig squarely in the House of Ducci.
