Dominick Black, the man who bought Kyle Rittenhouse the gun he used in deadly shootings during unrest in Kenosha, Wisconsin, in 2020 has agreed to a plea deal related to weapons charges, his defense attorney told CNN.
Rittenhouse was acquitted in November of first-degree intentional homicide and four other felony charges related to the Kenosha shootings that left two men dead and a third man injured.
Rittenhouse, 17 at the time of the shootings, said he fired in self-defense amid chaotic unrest surrounding the 2020 police shooting of Jacob Blake, a 29-year-old Black man, in Kenosha.
Black, 20, was the first witness to testify during Rittenhouse’s trial. He was charged in November 2020 with two felony counts of intentionally giving a dangerous weapon to a person under the age of 18 causing death, according to court records.
