New York Fashion Week officially kicks off on Friday and will run through Sept. 13. This season’s slate of shows promises the first collection from Helmut Lang’s new creative director Peter Do, and returning fashion favorites Carolina Herrera, Michael Kors, Proenza Schouler, Tory Burch and Ralph Lauren, among others.
While runway shows and major after parties are often reserved for members of the fashion industry, many brands hold activations and pop-up events open to the public, celebrating NYFW.
