Must-See LGBTQ TV: ‘Drag Me to Dinner,’ ‘Queen of the Universe,’ and ‘Love Allways’ in new queer reality, and ‘Nancy Drew,’ ‘iCarly,’ and more in queer fiction!

Grab the remote, set your DVR, or queue up your streaming service of choice! GLAAD is bringing you the LGBTQ highlights on TV this week. Check back every Sunday for up-to-date coverage in LGBTQ-inclusive programming on TV.

This week includes the first few days of June, known best here as LGBTQIA+ pride month, and an influx of new and old queer content is hitting your screens!

  • Hulu’s new queer reality series Drag Me to Dinner premieres this week on Wednesday! Each episode of the show features two teams of celebrated drag performers going head to head to throw the best dinner party possible. The winner is decided by a panel of judges comprised of gay actor and icon Neil Patrick Harris, legendary drag queen and Drag Race winner Bianca Del Rio, and Haneefah Wood. The show is hosted by comedian and drag king Murray Hill, and features gay actor David Burtka as a resident expert on all things dinner party. The first episode pits Jinkx Monsoon and BenDeLaCreme against Sherry Vine and Jackie Beat, with more exciting pairs to follow in the ten episode series! Drag Me to Dinner, Wednesdays on Hulu 

  • The hit Paramount+ drag reality singing competition Queen of the Universe is back this week on Friday! Season two of Queen of the Universe sees ten drag queens from all over the world compete for a cash prize of $250,000. The queens this season are Aura Eternal (Italy), Chloe V (Brazil), Jazell Royale (US), Militia Scunt (US), Love Masisi (The Netherlands), Maxie (The Philippines), Miss Sistrata (Israel), Taiga Brava (Mexico), Trevor Ashley (Australia), and Viola (UK). The show is hosted by gay comedian Graham Norton, and Drag Race All Stars winner and legend Trixie Mattel sits on the judge’s panel. Who will take home the prize this year? You’ll have to watch to find out! Queen of the Universe, Fridays on Paramount+

  • Love Allways, a new pansexual dating show from Paramount+, airs its first three episodes this week! The show centers Lexi Paloma as a bachelorette, slowly narrowing down her group of suitors until eventually one is chosen. However, in the process, some of the pansexual contestants fall for each other, leading to chaos in the game. There are two teams as well, each assigned a coach, who hopes that Lexi ultimately chooses one of their singles. We can’t wait to see how this turns out. Love Allways, Fridays on Paramount+

  • Naked.Loud.Proud., a Polish documentary that premiered at Millenium Docs against Gravity, is out Thursday on Max! The series follows a set of drag and burlesque performers in Poland, and the community they create together. However, Poland is not the most accepting country when it comes to any differences from what is considered the “norm.” Naked.Loud.Proud., Thursdays on Max. 

  • Season four of The CW’s Nancy Drew premieres this Wednesday at 8:00 pm! Nancy Drew is a mystery drama about the fabled 18-year-old sleuth, whose college plans are delayed due to the death of her mother. Instead of leaving home, she stays in her hometown of Horseshoe Bay, Maine. In the season four premiere, Nancy launches a new investigation to find a group of missing bodies from Horseshoe Bay’s cemetery that have been dug up and stolen, or have possibly risen. As Nancy is drawn into this ghostly case, a string of unexplained paranormal crimes leads the Drew Crew to believe that the literal sins of the town’s past have returned to haunt the living. Meanwhile, Nancy struggles with yearning for Ace, the man she loves. The show features Bess, a mysterious, wealthy city girl, and an out lesbian, as well as Addy, Bess’ love interest. Nancy Drew, Wednesdays at 8:00 pm on The CW 

  • Season six of Tyler Perry’s Sistas premieres this Wednesday at 9:00 pm on BET! The show follows a group of four single Black women as they find their way through the world in their thirties. The show features two supporting queer characters, Maurice, who is gay, and Calvin, who is bisexual. Tyler Perry’s Sistas, Wednesdays at 9:00 pm on BET

  • Season three of the Paramount+ iCarly reboot premieres on Friday with two new episodes! The show follows Carly nine years after the end of the original series as she moves back to Seattle and returns to her web show with the help of Spencer, Freddie, Freddie’s stepdaughter Millicent, and Carly’s roommate Harper. Harper is bisexual in the show and played by out bisexual actress Laci Mosley. iCarly, Fridays on Paramount+

  • Season two of Prime Video comedy With Love returns this Friday! The show follows siblings Jorge Diaz and Lily as they grapple with big changes and rely on their family to help them through it. Jorge Diaz is gay, and this season wonders if he and Henry, his boyfriend, are compatible. Both Jorge Diaz and Henry are played by queer actors, Mark Indelicato and Vincent Rodriguez III, respectively. With Love, Fridays on Prime Video

  • The final chapter of the hit show Manifest, which found a home on Netflix after a cancellation at NBC, drops in entirety this Friday! Manifest follows the passengers of Flight 828 after a routine flight when they realize the world has aged five years. After mourning their loss, their friends and families had given up hope and moved on. Now, faced with the impossible, they’re all given a second chance. But as their new realities become clear, a deeper mystery unfolds and some of the returned passengers soon realize they may be meant for something greater than they ever thought possible. The show features bisexual character Saanvi Bahl, and occasionally her ex, Alex Bates. Manifest, Friday on Netflix
